This 2009-2010 season marks the twenty-fifth season of the Salem Chamber Orchestra, your local, professional orchestra! The ensemble is playing better than ever, due in part to the ensemble’s collaborative artistic model, bringing in guest conductors and artists for each of the five concerts this season. This model allows musicians and audience members to experience diverse and invigorating music performed by world-class artists — all right here in Salem!
“It was a sweet surprise to find the caliber and quality of music that I’ve found in Salem, Oregon. The quality of the musicians is superior. Thank you for so graciously providing this for our community!”
- Mary McMurtry, SCO subscriber
In order to keep the Salem Chamber Orchestra accessible to the whole community, we strive to keep ticket prices low. And to do this, we need support from foundations, businesses, and individuals like you. We’d like to ask you to support the orchestra for its twenty-fifth season by participating in the $25 for the 25th campaign.
We are asking you to donate $25 each month for the 2009-2010 concert year. That’s less than $1 per day—much less than a daily cup of coffee—and will greatly support the orchestra’s cause! Larger or smaller donations will of course be accepted. Even a one-time $25 donation helps cover the orchestra’s operations, including fees for conductors and guest artists, music licenses and royalties, sheet music purchase and rental, and performance venue fees.

Thank you!
