Dance music from across the centuries! Featuring Gunther Schuller’s Journey Into Jazz, a story about a young trumpet player discovering how to play jazz.

Instrument Petting Zoo
After the concert will be an instrument petting zoo where you can learn how to play real musical instruments! Children of all ages (including the young at heart!) are welcome to try out the different orchestral instruments, guided by SCO musicians. Here are some photos from previous Instrument Petting Zoos.
